Grandma\'s Tales
Almost every child in India is read stories
either by parents or grandparents to drive home some particular moral
points. Indian mythology is very old and has a long tradition of being
passed on from generation to generation either through word of mouth or
through carefully stored scriptures.
The stories in Indian mythology vary from subtle maxim conveying tales of Panchatantra and Jataka-tales to subtle life paradigm defining stories from the Bhagvad-Gita, Ramayana and Mahabharata. These stories are stories of wisdom, and morals and are meant to teach the values of kindness, compassion, generosity, non-violence, self-sacrifice, charity, and other didactic values to a common person. These tales are just as relevant in content in the modern times. This is true for any culture from around the world!!
In this page, we strive to bring you series of stories, which shall be enlightening, educational and fun. Changing times have necessitated the use of new technology to narrate these tales to the young generation, through the medium of animated stories. However, care has been taken to project the original messages in these tales without diluting their moral content.
Readers contributions are most welcome. If you have an animated story that you think any child (or the child within us) would enjoy, please contact us.
