i shivered in joy

and watched a fairy tale unfold

sometimes when it is raining down on us

we see our faith is true

the beacon in a mortal soul

now i ache and tremble

and my blood grows cold

a shadow has fallen over me

and now i go alone

not so far is where you go

just wait till the leaves change color

and i will wait for misletoe
